My Green Lab^® develops its standards through an open, transparent process aligned with international best practices and global environmental regulations.

Our standards are created by My Green Lab staff and guided by steering committees that represent a balanced mix of voices from industry, academia, and the sustainability sector.

Each certification program includes robust third-party verification aligned with the principles of ISO 17065, the international standard governing the competence, impartiality, and consistency of environmental certification bodies, and was developed in consultation with Assurance Services International (ASI), a leading global assurance body for environmental certification programs.

We’re committed to continuous improvement. Our standards are regularly reviewed and updated by our technical and steering teams. We closely monitor the use of certification marks, investigate concerns, and maintain a transparent appeals process for all participants.
